Commercial Site Works & Landscape Installation

If your site has paver settlement, brown sod two months after install, drainage that ponds, or a punch list nobody wants to own — you've come to the right page. We're a commercial general contractor's install-only site works division. We don't bid maintenance and we don't take residential work. We handle paver and hardscape, sod, landscape installation, and site grading at commercial scale, on the same insurance and project management our GC business runs. Below: how the division is structured, what we install, and where we work.

A Site Works Division Built for Commercial Buyers

RCG's Site Works division handles the install-only commercial landscape and hardscape scope most landscape companies treat as bolt-on enhancement work. We install commercial landscape — plant material specified to ANSI Z60.2-2025, sod blends suited to the Ohio Valley transition zone, topsoil to ASTM D5268, and finish grading at landscape-supporting scale. We install pedestrian and light-vehicular paver work to CMHA Tech Spec. We bundle that scope with RCG's commercial GC work — tenant improvement, healthcare renovation, exterior cladding — under a single integrated contract when the project calls for it. We don't mow lawns, we don't service residential properties, and we don't take ongoing maintenance contracts. We build the work, we stand behind it, and we move on.

    • Commercial Landscape Installation: Plant material, soil prep, mulch, and bed work — install only, no maintenance contracts. Specified to ANSI Z60.2-2025, ASTM D5268, and CSI Division 32.
    • Commercial Paver Installation: Pedestrian and light-vehicular interlocking concrete paver installations to CMHA Tech Spec — plazas, walkways, entry approaches, and ADA transitions.
    • Commercial Sod Installation: Turf-type tall fescue and TTTF / Kentucky bluegrass commercial sod-quality blends suited to the Ohio Valley transition zone, installed per UFGS 32 92 23.
    • Site Grading: Rough, fine, and finish grading at landscape-supporting scale — coordinated with civil drawings. Not civil-scale earthwork.
    • Integrated Exterior Renovation: Façade, paver and hardscape, landscape, sod, and grading delivered under one GC contract — eliminating the trade coordination tax for facility managers.
    • RFP Specifications Guide: A field-tested guide to commercial landscape RFPs — ANSI Z60.2 plant specs, ASTM D5268 topsoil, AIA warranty triggers, prevailing wage applicability, and the CSI sections to cite.

    Install Only, No Maintenance

RCG's Site Works division is built for one-time commercial scopes. We don't bid mowing, fertilization, or snow removal. That focus keeps our crews specialized in install work and our pricing aligned with the construction line on your capital budget — not your operating budget.

    Headquartered in NKY

RCG is headquartered in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. Our coverage area is the Greater Cincinnati metro, all of Northern Kentucky (Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties), and the Dayton / Miami Valley region. Same project teams deliver commercial GC and Site Works scope across the corridor.

GC + Site Works Under One Roof

RCG's existing commercial construction team handles tenant improvements, healthcare renovations, exterior cladding, and ADA upgrades across Cincinnati, NKY, and Dayton. Adding Site Works to that contract eliminates the trade-coordination tax facility managers face when they renovate a building's interior, exterior, and landscape as separate scopes. One contract, one schedule, one accountable team. See integrated exterior renovation.

    Commercial Site Works FAQs

No. The Site Works division is exclusively commercial install work — landscape installation, paver and hardscape, sod, and site grading at landscape-supporting scale. We don't take residential jobs and we don't bid maintenance, mowing, fertilization, or snow contracts.

$25,000 to $500,000, consistent with RCG's commercial GC sweet spot. Smaller scopes (single sod replacement, short paver walkway) start around $10,000; larger integrated packages (campus landscape install delivered alongside an exterior renovation) extend toward $750,000–$1M when bundled with building scope.

Greater Cincinnati, all of Northern Kentucky (Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties), and Dayton / the Miami Valley region. RCG is headquartered in Crescent Springs, KY, and operates across the corridor with the same project teams that deliver commercial GC work.

Self-performed by Tony's team for the core scopes — commercial landscape installation, paver and hardscape, sod, and site grading. Specialty trades (PE-stamped structural review, pesticide application) are licensed-sub or licensed-staff per the requirement. The integrated model works because we do the work, not because we manage somebody else doing it.

Yes — that's the cleanest use case. If RCG is already on-site for a tenant improvement, healthcare renovation, or exterior cladding scope, adding Site Works to the same contract eliminates separate mobilization, separate insurance certificates, and separate close-out documentation.
